Upcoming shows, AKA the biginning of the end of 2011.

There’s a lot  coming up to finish out 2011, starting with the relaunch of Varnish Fine Art on September 24th. I am VERY happy and honored to be a part of the first show to grace the walls of the new space (They got eminent domained out of there old spot, learn more about it here)  The list of artists is incredible and humbling. My contributions to this exhibit are a certain goose stepping  intergalactic imperial fascist, Herr Vader and a propaganda poster-ish portrait of the character Snowball from Animal Farm. All the info on the show can be found here on the FB event page.

On October 1st and 2nd Spoke Art is unveiling the 3rd round of their popular Quentin Vs. Coen exhibit, An art show revolving aroud the movies of Quentin Tarintino and the Coen Brothers. The show will take place in los Angeles as a part of the Beyond Eden Art Fair at the LA Municipal Art Gallery at Barnsdall Park. I’m stoked my painting of Rooster Cogburn “Here Come the Rooster” will be on display.

At the Meltdown Gallery on October 7th is the I Want My Music Video Art Show. This is show was curated by (SUPER RAD) artist Dave MacDowell and video director Chris Marrs Piliero (The Black Keys, Ke$ha, Britney Spears). I’m so happy these guys asked me to be in this show because it resulted in the painting of a certain Ladies Love and his hat that resembles a sharks fin. Thanks guys.

and that just gets us to through the first week of Octeober, much much more coming up…
